Olympique Lyonnais are reportedly interested in Derby County’s Jacob Widell Zetterström (28), according to information from Foot Mercato.
Having joined the Rams from Djurgårdens IF in the summer of 2024, the Stockholm-born player has established himself as the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper.
Making 42 appearances as first-choice goalkeeper (nine clean sheets, 51 goals conceded) during his first season in England, Widell Zetterström started a further 33 times (seven clean sheets, 47 goals conceded) throughout the 2025-26 campaign, in which he was forced to sit out for several weeks.
With a contract running with Derby County until 2027, the Swede – who started against France in the round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup (3-0) – is, however, reportedly being viewed by Lyon as an option should Dominik Greif (29) or Rémy Descamps (30) leave this summer. A possibility which, for the time being, is not on the agenda. But Widell Zetterström’s profile is appealing.
