Details as Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni under investigation in prostitution case | OneFootball

Alessandro Bastoni hasn’t exactly a smooth few months for club and country but the defender now finds himself under a legal scanner.

La Repubblica – via TMW, offer details of the behind the scenes in the child prostitution case that the Italian finds himself embroiled in.

It is believed that an escort agency in Cinisello Balsamo organised all-inclusive parties for VIP clients and footballers were some of their major clients. Bastoni was likely one of the clients and he received a notice of investigation from the Milan Prosecutor Office today and he will be questioned in the case in the next few days.

The issue concerns Bastoni’s engagement with a female who was only 17 at the time of the incident. The individual has denied having any relationship with the defender but documents have revealed conversations between the two through a handyman at a club which is the centre of the investigation.

The Guardia Di Finanza hasn’t stopped at Bastoni, as they have also requested information about three other players who are under investigation in the case.

At the same time, the Prosecutor’s Office is aiming to reconstruct the network around the agency, the girls involved, the operations, possible involvement of laughing gas and advanced packages that also likely involved dinners and discos.
