DFB chiefs 'to hold' final Red Bull talks in New York as Jürgen Klopp negotiations begin | OneFootball

The German football association has opened talks with Jürgen Klopp in New York, alongside his agent Marc Kosicke, according to Sky Germany.

Bernd Neuendorf and Hans-Joachim Watzke have travelled to the city for the discussions.

Final negotiations between the DFB and Klopp's current employers, Red Bull, are planned for early next week in New York. Watzke and Oliver Mintzlaff will be tasked with overseeing those discussions with the global Red Bull football entity.

The process is proceeding according to plan, with official announcements planned once matters are finalised.

The federation still has work to do, a point Watzke had previously anticipated.
