Djibril Sidibé announces Toulouse exit, says he leaves with a heavy heart | OneFootball

Djibril Sidibé’s time at Toulouse is over. The 33-year-old right-back was not kept on after his contract expired on 30 June.

He announced the news on Instagram on Thursday. The player said in a post that he was ending his spell with the club with a heavy heart, that he had wished the story ended differently, and that he would focus on the positives.

Sidibé joined Toulouse in August 2024 from AEK Athens.

Across two seasons, the former Monaco and Lille defender made 63 appearances, including 60 in Ligue 1.

His return was three goals and seven assists.
