Dominant matchday for the Rojiblanca Academy against Mazatlán FC!

The Clausura 2026 postseason will begin at full speed for two teams from the Rojiblanca Academy, as Chivas Sub 17 and Sub 15 completely outplayed Mazatlán on Matchday 18, officially confirming themselves as the leaders of Group 2 in their respective competitions.
SUB 17
The Rebaño set a new club mark! By crushing Mazatlán 5-1 at home, Alberto Ascencio’s squad reached 40 points in Clausura 2026, securing not only the overall lead and the top spot in Group 2, but also posting their highest point total since the category returned.
The Rojiblanca celebration started with Stefan López in the 8th minute, followed by Edgar Vargas in the 37th to give Guadalajara the lead before halftime. In the second half, Cristian Santana scored in the 57th minute, López added his second in the 66th, and Carlos Bernal capped the performance late in the match.
The young Chivas side will now wait until tomorrow, when the match between América and Pachuca is played, to learn their Quarterfinal opponent.

Another convincing Rojiblanco win came in the following match, as Chivas earned a dominant 3-0 victory over the Cañoneros, officially securing first place in Group 2 of Liga MX Sub 15 with 34 points.
The Rebaño controlled the match from start to finish, building the scoreline through goals from Dilan Padilla in the 33rd minute, Santiago López in the 57th, and Raydel Montaño in the 87th.
Likewise, Alexis Coyote’s team will wait until tomorrow, after Pachuca’s match, to find out whether their Quarterfinal opponent will be Pachuca or Necaxa.
