Dominik Greif overcame a late health scare to start for Lyon against Lorient and deliver a standout display.

According to Le Progres, the goalkeeper suffered gastric pain on Saturday, was taken to hospital, then was cleared to play on Sunday.

He kept a clean sheet and looked inspired throughout.

It was his 11th in Ligue 1, putting him top of the clean sheet chart ahead of Hervé Koffi of Angers on 10, as well as Robien Risser of Lens and Berke Ozer of Lille, both on 10.

The Slovakian’s outing came less than a day after that hospital visit.
