Done Deal: Kyle Walker set to join Milan from Manchester City | OneFootball

Kyle Walker’s expected move from Manchester City to Milan is now a done deal according to reports in Italy on Wednesday afternoon.

Reports on Wednesday morning confirmed that City have agreed to send the 34-year-old out on loan to the Rossoneri for free for the remainder of the season. With an agreement over a contract until 2027 already reached with Walker and his representatives, Milan still needed to arrange a buy option with Pep Guardiola’s side, though.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com, that agreement has now been reached. The Italian outlet claims that Milan will sign the Englishman on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 season and will have an option to make the move permanent for a €5m fee in the summer.

Walker will be into the final year of his Manchester City contract, which runs until 2026, when the summer transfer window opens.

According to Calciomercato.com’s report, Walker will arrive in Italy on Thursday to have his medicals with Sergio Conceicao’s side.

The England international is set to earn an annual wage of €4m when he signs a new contract with Milan.
