Italy captain Gigio Donnarumma has been one of PSG’s standout performers this season, especially in the Champions League, and reports in Italy have linked him with a move to Inter.
The Nerazzurri and PSG will meet in the Champions League Final on May 31 and Donnarumma will surely be one of the players to watch.
The Azzurri captain produced some crucial saves in the knockout phase, helping the Ligue 1 giants to eliminate Premier League sides Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal.
Inter, on the other hand, have qualified for the second Champions League Final in three years so naming a favourite for the Munich clash is a pretty tough task. Donnarumma is a former Milan star who joined PSG on a free transfer from the Rossoneri in 2021.

He has kept just 11 clean sheets in 38 games across all competitions this term, but his impact in the Ligue 1 giants’ Champions League run has been remarkable and widely recognised by fans and pundits across the Old Continent.
Milan fans who blamed him for leaving the club four years ago, will perhaps support him at the end of the month not to see their city rivals win the coveted Champions League.
Ironically, Donnarumma has also been linked with a move to Inter as the Italian has not yet extended his contract, which expires in 2026.
Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà recently claimed the Nerazzurri would be ready to offer him a €9m-a-year contract, but only if the Italian captain leaves Paris as a free agent next year.
Manchester City have also been linked with the 26-year-old, who has already won EURO 2020 with the Italy national team.
Donnarumma’s agent, Enzo Raiola, spoke about the goalkeeper’s contract situation at the start of the season: “[PSG director] Campos has said it publicly: He wants to keep Gigio, and we want to stay. I am proud that a player like him plays for one of the best clubs in the world. He is a leader of our national team, and he could be the same at PSG. I’d be glad,” Raiola said.
“He has received criticism in the past, but he has accepted it. I found it excessive anyway,” the Italian agent continued.
“I know his worth well. He is the best keeper in the world, and there aren’t many talents like him in Italy.”
