Liverpool should stop Chelsea signing a brilliant Brazilian talent. It's time to move for him.
The transfer window is right around the corner and Liverpool will want to make magic happen. Last summer, after all, has proven to be a bust - the squad has undeniably gone backwards.
More is needed to correct things and honestly, that means signing both in defence and attack. The Reds have been weak defensively but they've also failed to break teams down.
Some extra creativity would go a long, long way. It could even ease the pressure on Florian Wirtz and potentially get more out of him.
At the same time, Liverpool won't want to spend a fortune on someone who would likely be a backup. Finding a young talent with room to grow is the order of the day, then, and we think there's a very interesting one.
Shaktar Donetsk playmaker Isaque has quickly made a big impact since moving there in the summer. The 19-year-old has five goals and four assists in the league despite starting a mere seven.
It's been an explosion from the teenager. So much so that teams are now lining up to sign him - from all over Europe.
Calciomercato.it claims several Premier League clubs are in that group. Chelsea are arguably the biggest and they're chasing a player whose valuation tripled over the last season.
But Isaque fits the bill wonderfully for Liverpool. Someone who can score, create and develop as more of a squad player at Anfield.
The hype is growing rapidly around the player and we feel he's a very interesting and potentially brilliant investment at the right time.
Shakhtar Performance and Stats
As of 19 May 2026, Isaque Silva is concluding his debut season with Shakhtar Donetsk following his €20 million move from Fluminense in August 2025. The 19-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder has developed well in Europe, recently netting a brace in a league match against SC Poltava on 10 May. He also gained valuable continental experience in the UEFA Conference League, featuring in both legs of Shakhtar's recent tie against Premier League side Crystal Palace. Most recently, he picked up a yellow card during a 3–2 Ukrainian Premier League victory over FC Kryvbas on 17 May.
Contract and Background
The Fluminense academy graduate remains under a long-term contract at Shakhtar until 30 June 2030, with the club viewing the versatile teenager as a cornerstone of their future midfield.
