Borussia Dortmund have confirmed an injury suffered by Pascal Groß over the weekend.

Dortmund moved up to seventh in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.

But their joy has been tempered somewhat by the news that Groß has suffered what the club have called 'slight ligament damage' to his knee.

It means the Germany international will miss their clash with Hoffenheim this coming weekend and could potentially be the end of the veteran's season.
