Dortmund receive mixed injury news ahead of Hoffenheim clash | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac had mixed injury news to reveal at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga clash against TSG Hoffenheim.

The BVB coach confirmed that Karim Adeyemi has joined the club’s injury list.

“We have three absences with Emre [Can], Felix [Nmecha] and Karim [Adeyemi]. Those three are not available. Karim has muscular problems that rule him out completely. Otherwise, [Yan] Couto is back in the squad. Filippo [Mané] has trained well. Three injured players, and everyone else is fit.”

On the positive side for BVB, this means that Serhou Guirassy, who had to pull out of training earlier this week, is available for selection.

“He had to stop training due to a minor ankle problem, but he was back in training the very next day,” Kovac explained.

The match between Hoffenheim and Dortmund kicks off on Saturday at 15:30 CET.
