Dortmund ‘to monitor’ Adeyemi after recent lapses | OneFootball

Adeyemi is under renewed scrutiny at Borussia Dortmund after an alleged weapons scandal and his misconduct in the 2-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Sport BILD reports that those in charge will be monitoring his performances closely, with the forward said to be under observation.

The report adds he cannot afford further lapses in concentration at BVB.

His negotiating position has been weakened not only by those episodes but also by recent displays.

He has not contributed to a goal since November, and the German international has twice started on the bench in recent matches.

Adeyemi is under contract until 2027, and it is believed Dortmund would still like to extend it.
