Radu Dragusin will not leave Tottenham in the January transfer window but will reassess his future in North London at the end of the campaign.
Dragusin signed for Spurs from Genoa for an initial fee of £21.5m in January but has struggled for regular first-team football in North London.
The presence of Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero has restricted the Romanian to just seven starts in the Premier League.
Juventus and Napoli are among the clubs to have been linked with signing the 22-year-old, with the Serie A sides reportedly prepared to offer Dragusin a route back to Italy.
However, the player’s agent has dismissed the suggestion he could leave Spurs when the transfer window opens in January.
Discussing his future, Florin Manea said there was ‘no chance’ of a winter exit but said that the situation would be reassessed in the summer if Dragusin’s minutes do not increase.
“He will not leave Spurs in the January window, no chance,” Manea said.
“Its an honour to be linked with Napoli and Juve, but these are just rumours. He has five years left at Tottenham. He’ll reassess the situation in June if he doesn’t get minutes.”
