Drama: Assistant coach dies during match

Serbian football is in mourning after a tragic incident occurred this Sunday during the match between Mladost Lučani and Radnički 1923, part of the 14th round of the Superliga. In the 22nd minute, Mladen Žižović, Radnički's video analyst, suddenly collapsed on the sideline after losing consciousness.

Emergency responders acted immediately and tried to resuscitate him before rushing him to the hospital. Despite the medical team's best efforts, Žižović did not survive the sudden illness. The man, in his forties, was only in his third match with the team, which he had joined recently.

The devastating news of his death broke before the start of the second half, sending shockwaves through the stadium. Players from both teams, visibly shaken, returned to the pitch in tears. Given the gravity of the situation, the referee decided to permanently suspend the match, with Radnički leading 2-0.

This tragedy has deeply affected Serbia. Numerous clubs, officials, and supporters have expressed their sorrow and paid tribute to Mladen Žižović, honoring a passionate, respected, and dedicated football man who gave his all until his final moments.
