Dunkerque have rejected a bid worth one million euros from Nantes for striker Thomas Robinet, according to L'Équipe.

Nantes, seeking experienced reinforcements after a poor start in Ligue 2, moved to sign the 30-year-old, who is under contract until 2028.

Dunkerque intend to keep the forward, who scored 18 goals in all competitions last season.

Relegated at the end of last season, Nantes are bottom of Ligue 2 after three defeats from three.

Michel Der Zakarian, back for a third spell this summer, has been replaced by former Red Star coach Grégory Poirier. The Canaries aim to kick-start their campaign at Guingamp on Saturday at 20:00.
