Dusan Vlahovic leaves Juventus on a free as José Boto interest lingers at Flamengo | OneFootball

With the European season over, Juventus said Serbia striker Dusan Vlahovic is now a free agent. The 26-year-old is a long-standing dream signing for Flamengo director José Boto.

"For what we need now, I would think about Vlahovic. Our problem would not be money, but convincing these big names to come to Brazil. In football, never say never," said Boto, speaking to Gazzetta Dello Sport in July 2025.

Vlahovic joined Juventus in January 2022 for a record fee. He could not reproduce his Fiorentina form, did not agree a new deal and has left Turin on a free.

Despite departing Juventus, the centre-forward is attracting interest from clubs in Europe’s leading leagues. He scored 10 goals in 23 games last season and wants to continue playing in Europe.

Flamengo are scanning the market for attacking options. Boto’s idea is to add a centre-forward to rotate with Pedro, the current starter, with Wallace Yan also part of the squad.
