Paulo Dybala is back in Rome and ready to embark on his fourth season with the Giallorossi.

After spending his summer break between Miami and the Maldives, the Argentine forward landed in the Italian capital this morning and is set to report for preseason training under new head coach Gian Piero Gasperini on Sunday, when Roma‘s training camp at Trigoria officially begins.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Dybala will be at the Fulvio Bernardini Training Center as early as Thursday to undergo scheduled medical checks following the tendon injury that sidelined him late last season.

From there, he will gradually resume training after more than 100 days of recovery, which included personalised rehabilitation work in both Miami and Argentina, coordinated by a Roma-assigned trainer.

The early weeks of preseason could also present the opportunity to begin discussions over a contract extension, with Dybala’s current deal set to expire in June 2026.

Roma’s No. 21 is determined to return to full strength — and Gasperini is ready, eager to integrate Dybala into his new system as soon as possible.
