Early League Two odds put Walsall at 6/1 for promotion | OneFootball

Walsall have been priced at 6/1 to win promotion from League Two next season, an implied 14 per cent chance, according to Betting Odds.

Barnet and Rotherham United lead the early promotion market at 2/1, with Chesterfield and Port Vale at 9/4.

Newly promoted York City and play-off semi-finalists Grimsby Town are 11/4, while beaten finalists Salford City start at 12/5.

For the title, Walsall are 20/1. A year ago they were 10/1 to lift the league and 11/4 for promotion.

The Saddlers lost the 2025 play-off final to Wimbledon, then slipped to 13th last season, their lowest finish in three years.

Elsewhere in the title market, Chesterfield and Bristol Rovers are 11/1, Salford, Port Vale, Grimsby and York 12/1, with Northampton and Swindon 16/1.

In the promotion field, Northampton and Swindon are 4/1, Crewe 7/1, Exeter and Rochdale 8/1, and Fleetwood 10/1.
