Lionesses goalkeeper Mary Earps has stepped away from international duty with immediate effect.
Over the past eight years, Earps has earned 53 caps for the national team, playing a crucial part in England’s triumph at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 and their journey to the final of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Despite her achievements, the 32-year-old recently saw her spot in the squad taken by Hannah Hampton, and she will no longer be involved in England's bid for Euro 2025 glory in Switzerland this summer.
The former Manchester United stopper made 24 appearances for her current club PSG, as the French club finished second in the league this season - and then lost to Lyon in the play-off final.
