Eder Militao headed Real Madrid level on his first appearance in five months, but Mallorca reclaimed the lead in stoppage time at Son Moix.
Football Espana notes that this could be a huge moment in the La Liga title race.
Manu Morlanes had put the hosts ahead with a composed finish later in the first half, leaving Madrid to rue earlier misses. Their advantage lasted 50 minutes.
Militao then rose to head brilliantly past the keeper, restoring parity. Madrid looked on top after that.
Soon after, Mallorca snatched it back as Vedat Muriqi was slipped through and drove in from inside the area to make it 2-1.
If Barcelona win at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, Real Madrid would have a seven-point gap to make up, which could be unassailable at this stage of the season.
