Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson was struck by a thrown object during Fenerbahce’s 4-0 Super Lig win over Kayseri Spor in Türkiye on Saturday.

The Mirror reports that the former Manchester City goalkeeper was hit by a hard object thrown from the stands.

He fell to the turf clutching his face as television cameras moved in for a close-up.

Footage shared after the match showed a camera mounted on a long arm, and once Ederson noticed it he reacted angrily and shoved it away, drawing jeers from the stands.

He maintained his focus to keep a clean sheet. Kayseri Spor could now face disciplinary action, the report said.
