Yesterday, Edoardo Bove terminated his contract with Roma, putting an end, at least temporarily, to his time with the Giallorossi.
However, a retirement is not part of the player’s plans, but after fighting and patiently awaiting his opportunity, he is close to returning to the pitch.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Watford is very active in bringing the 2002-born player to England, where he could play without any problems.
In recent hours, the parties involved have been in contact to find a solution, but the Hornets are pushing.
If it were to materialize, Bove would restart in the Championship after suffering an illness during the December 1st Fiorentina-Inter match.
Watford are currently sixth after 25 matchdays, fighting for the playoffs to return to the top English league, the Premier League.
The team led by Javi Gracia features a squad that mixes young players with experienced ones. Edoardo certainly won’t return to the pitch immediately, but will need time to regain match rhythm. After that, he’ll be able to return to fighting in midfield.
