Egypt came roaring back in the second half after trailing at the break. Three goals in 23 minutes saw them brush New Zealand aside in the end, despite the first half being very well balanced.

Video OneFootball

It remains wide open in Group G heading into the final matchday.

We're into seven minutes of added time in this second-half.

It's been a proper blitz from England in this second half, and New Zealand have had no answer for it.

GOAL EGYPT, THAT MAY DO IT!

Egypt are two goals to the good now and that could be the death knell for the All Whites.

Trézéguet was left bizarrely unmarked from the corner before heading home Egypt's third goal in under 30 minutes.

There is certainly still goals in this game and either side could land a potential sucker-punch.

The two Egypt goals were separated by only nine minutes and they leave New Zealand stunned after the dramatic turnaround.

ANOTHER GOAL FOR EGYPT!

Egypt have completed the turnaround in the second-half, and who else but Mo Salah!?

The Egyptian king capped off a superb team move to put his side in front with 20 minutes remaining on the night, and that goal sends Egypt to the top of the group on live standings!

GOAL EGYPT! THEY PULL LEVEL!

The Pharaohs have found the leveler they were desperately looking for after Mohamed Hany whipped a perfect ball into the box for Mostafa Ziko to head home.

Game on in Vancouver!

Massive chance for New Zealand!

A sumptuous ball into the box found the head of Callum McCowatt, but the forward's headed effort was tipped over the bar by Mostafa Shobeir at the last second!

Egypt have ramped up the pressure in the opening minutes of this second interval, forcing a last-ditch save out of Max Crocombe in the New Zealand goal.

The teams are back out for the second-half in Vancouver. With Group G being wide open at the moment, this could be a pivotal 45 minutes.

HALF-TIME, New Zealand 1-0 Egypt

A Finn Surman goal is the difference between the two teams so far this evening, and it brings up some interesting history.

For the first time ever, New Zealand lead ay half-time of a World Cup match. Meanwhile, it is also the first time Egypt have ever trailed at half-time of a World Cup match.

And we're into four minutes of first-half stoppage-time.

Egypt are forced into a first-half change as Hamdy Fathy goes off with a suspected injury. The centre-back is replaced by Ramy Rabia.

Chance Egypt!

A well-worked set-piece routine allowed Mo Salah to bend a shot around the wall but the legendary winger saw his effort drift just wide.

Egypt have responded well to the early setback, getting Omar Marmoush and Mo Salah more involved in the game as we creep past the 30 minute mark.

GOAL NEW ZEALAND!

The All Whites have nabbed an early lead thanks to Portland Timbers centre-back Finn Surman, who rose high above the Egypt rearguard to fire a bullet header into the back of the net.

It's been a bit of a sluggish start in the opening 10 minutes this evening, particularly after some of the rip-roaring stuff we saw earlier this evening. These two sides certainly seem to be feeling each other out.

Chance for New Zealand!

A tidy counter-attack was eventually capped off by an acrobatic attempt on goal by Sarpreet Singh, but his shot was sent wide of goal.

We're underway in the City of Glass! A massive game in a wide open Group G is upon us.

The anthems have been sung and we're just about ready to kick off in Vancouver!

We will soon turn out attention to a Group G showdown between New Zealand and Egypt in Vancouver later this evening.

Here is how the two sides will set up!

FULL-TIME, URUGUAY 2-2 CABO VERDE

In what was one of the best matches of the tournament so far, Cabo Verde earn a famous draw with Uruguay. Both sides had to come back from deficits, and both had chances to win it.

Cabo Verde are quickly becoming the story of this World Cup and for good reason.

Cabo Verde want a penalty deep into stoppage-time! Nuno da Costa was cleared out on the break but the referee waves it away.

And we head into eight minutes of second-half stoppage-time. Plenty of time to find a winner for either side!

Valverde sends the free-kick over the bar as Cabo Verde breathe a sigh of relief.

Free-kick right on the edge of the box for Uruguay now. They have really grabbed ahold of the momentum...

Uruguay are racking up the corners as they mount pressure in search of a winner here.

Chance Uruguay!

A dangerous ball across the box eventually fell to Brian Rodríguez, but his close-range shot was deflected wide.

Cabo Verde look the more likely team to find a winner despite Uruguay just seeing a goal ruled out.

This game is turning into a basketball match and it is favouring the pace of the Cabo Verde attackers.

Uruguay see a goal ruled out for offside! It looked as if the South American side reclaimed the lead just before the hydration break but the flag went up after the ball ended up in the back of the net in a goalmouth scramble.

Close call for Cabo Verde...

GOAL CABO VERDE!

It's a howler from the Uruguay defence after a poor back pass that fell to a Cabo Verde player, forcing Fernando Muslera to come flying out of his net.

Second-half sub Hélio Varela easily rounded the keeper and side-footed the leveler into the wide open goal.

Free-kick here to Cabo Verde after Gilson Tavares was taken down from behind on the break. Yellow card to Mathías Olivera as a result!

It's been a bit more of an industrious second-half in this opening 10 minutes, but both sides are still very much in it.

And we're back underway from Miami. If the first-half is anything to go by, we should be in for another thrilling 45 minutes!

GOAL URUGUAY, THEY HAVE TURNED IT AROUND BEFORE THE BREAK!

In a flash Uruguay have taken the lead! Just minutes after the pulled level, a superb ball into the box eventually landed in the path of Agustín Canobbio to tap home and complete the turnaround with nearly the last kick of the half.

It was a bizarre buildup to the goal as Federico Viñas was helping stretch the leg of an injured Cabo Verde player down on the pitch.

When Viñas saw the play developing he ditched the injured player and eventually contributed to the goal with the initial shot that forced Vozinha into the save.

GOAL URUGUAY!

Just before the break Uruguay have pulled level thanks to Maxi Araújo, who was in the right place at the right time to tap home a Vozinha save from point-blank range.

Cabo Verde are crestfallen.

Cabo Verde are showing their opening goal was no fluke as they push for a second. Fernando Muslera has been a busy man in between the sticks for Uruguay since the opener.

This is truly what the World Cup is all about. Buckle up, folks. We should be in for a thrilling final hour in this Group H clash!

GOAL CABO VERDE! WHAT A SHOCK!

The story keeps on getting better as Bubista's side have taken a shock lead over Uruguay! It is the nation's first ever goal at a World Cup.

A superb free-kick from Kevin Pina goes low and under the wall to beat Fernando Muslera.

Absolute scenes in Miami!

Chance Uruguay!

A rip-roaring counterattack eventually landed in the path of Federico Valverde, but his shot is pulled wide.

Uruguay are slowly building a head of steam here as they pin Cabo Verde in their own half. So far though, the final ball has been missing from the Uruguayans.

It's been an extremely physical start in Miami, with plenty of small scuffles happening off the ball.

Early yellow card for Cabo Verde after a rough and tumble start to the match. Sidny Lopes Cabral is in the book for a crunching tackle on an Uruguayan player.

And we are underway from Miami! Both Group H sides will look for their first win in the tournament to close in on group leaders Spain.

Attention now turns to Miami, where Uruguay will take on Cabo Verde as they look to pull of similar to heroics to their tournament opener against Spain.

It's been another supremely frustrating tournament for Belgium so far.
