A defiant message from the Egyptian King as he equals Premier League legend

Egyptian King strikes 250th goal and sends message to Liverpool fans
Mohamed Salah has assured fans that Liverpool "will be fine" in the coming weeks expressing confidence in the team’s ability to recover from recent setbacks across competitions.
The 33 year old played decisive role in Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Aston Villa on Saturday at Anfield scoring the opening goal late in 1st half — his 250 goal for the club.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Salah said the result was vital after string of defeats in the Premier League & Champions League:
"It’s very important win. We’ve had some tough losses in recent weeks but I’m happy we’re back on the right track again. It’s good victory before 2 huge game against Real Madrid & Man City"..
Salah acknowledged the challenges of rebuilding after squad changes during the summer:
"I’ve said it before — this season was always going to be tough. We brought in new players who are adapting well but it takes time to understand each other’s movements. We also lost some important players so patience is key"..
He added with conviction:
"I know football. I’ve played it long enough to say that we’ll be fine. We just need to find rhythm and consistency again"
Salah’s goal against Villa saw him equal Wayne Rooney’s all time Premier League record for most goal contributions with single club (276 — 187 goals + 89 assists).
In total the Egyptian has now contributed 276 goal for Liverpool in the league (187 goal, 88 assist) from 298 appearances.
Across all his Premier League appearances for Chelsea & Liverpool, Salah has been directly involved in 279 goal (190G + 89A) — ranking him third all-time behind Alan Shearer (324) and Wayne Rooney (311).
