Eight players to leave Nottingham Forest this summer

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official media update from The Tricky Trees this afternoon.
It has been revealed that Nat Johnson, Mollie Green, Hollie Olding, Charlie Wellings, Caragh Hamilton, Casey Howe, Libby Smith and Joy Omewa will all be leaving The City Ground at the end of the month.
Johnson, Green, Olding, Wellings, Hamilton and Howe have all been with Nottingham Forest for multiple seasons. They were members of the 2024/2025 promotion-winning squad and have also played a part in Nottingham Forest’s solid first season in Barclays WSL2.
In other squad news, out of contract goalkeeper Georgie Ferguson has agreed to extend her deal into next season.
Nottingham Forest took to Barclays WSL2 football very well this season. The Tricky Trees collected 30 points from their 22 matches in Barclays WSL2, resulting in a seventh-place finish in the league table. The club have long-term aspirations to reach the Barclays Women’s Super League and the target next season will be to push on towards the top of the table.
