Eintracht Frankfurt confirm signing of Danish attacker | OneFootball

Eintracht Frankfurt have completed the signing of Malik Pimpong from Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland.

The 18-year-old Danish attacker has signed a contract running until 2031 with the Eagles.

“Malik Pimpong is a young player who brings with him a lot of talent and potential,” said Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Timmo Hardung. 

“The important thing now is to give him the time and space to get used to Eintracht Frankfurt, our structure and his new surroundings. We want to gradually bring him up to this level, support his development in a targeted way and offer him stability at the same time. We’re confident he’ll have an environment here where he can realise his potential, one step at a time.”

Pimpong, a Danish U19 international, scored 24 goals in 31 appearances for FC Midtjylland’s youth team last season.
