Following his departure from Roma, Stephan El Shaarawy is ready to open a new chapter in his career.

The Italian winger is said to be nearing a move to the Saudi Pro League despite drawing interest all over Serie A.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the former Giallorossi player is close to joining Carrasco’s Al Shabab.

The Arab club has offered a two-year contract worth €10 million per season.

El Shaarawy, however, is asking for a three-year deal.

In 2025/26, El Shaarawy made 28 appearances across Serie A, the Europa League, and the Coppa Italia, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
