Elias Legendre Quiñonez receives Ecuador call-up to replace Leonardo Campana | OneFootball

Elias Legendre Quiñonez, the young Rennes forward, has been called up by Ecuador for World Cup warm-up matches against Morocco and the Netherlands, replacing the withdrawn Leonardo Campana.

According to L'Équipe, he had previously been preselected before receiving the full call.

Legendre Quiñonez holds both French and Ecuadorian nationality and is included in a 34-man squad.

He joined the Ecuador camp in Madrid on Monday morning after travelling from Nantes.

Willian Pacho's side will compete at the 2026 World Cup in Group E with Germany, Côte d'Ivoire and Curaçao.
