Ellie Goulding will perform at half-time of England v Norway’s World Cup quarter-final on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, kick-off 23:00, according to L'Équipe.

The British singer, known for Love Me Like You Do, announced the concert on X on Friday.

Goulding said performing at the interval makes her feel anything is possible. She was bullish about the Three Lions qualifying for the semi-finals, even going all the way, and said she already knows the lads will make England proud.

It will be the first half-time performance of its kind at the 2026 tournament, ahead of a bigger show planned for the final on 19 July at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. Artists including Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, Coldplay and BTS are set to perform during a break initially set at 15 minutes, which may be extended.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino has promised a show worthy of the world’s biggest sporting event.
