Elversberg complete permanent signing of Łukasz Poręba from HSV | OneFootball

SV 07 Elversberg have made Łukasz Poręba’s loan permanent, signing the midfielder from Hamburger SV on a three-year contract.

According to BuLi News, the deal is worth a reported €1.6 million. The Polish central midfielder played in every game as Elversberg sealed a first-ever promotion to the Bundesliga.

Elversberg exercised their option to buy at the end of his loan. Poręba, 26, has now achieved back-to-back Bundesliga promotions with HSV and Elversberg.

Sporting director Christian Weber said the club are delighted he remains integral, highlighted his value to the squad and his major role in their success, and noted he fits the club’s values.

Poręba called the past year special and said he felt comfortable from the start. He added that continuing together for the Bundesliga challenge feels right.
