Elye Wahi taunts OM after Panenka equaliser for Nice at the Vélodrome | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Elye Wahi mocked OM on Instagram after his late equaliser for Nice at the Vélodrome. The posts came after Sunday’s Ligue 1 match.

It was his first match at the ground since leaving OM for Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025, after six months and 14 matches, with three goals, in Marseille. The Nice forward struck a Panenka in the 88th minute to make it 1-1 on matchday 31.

The goal was vital for the Aiglons in their relegation fight and it dented OM’s Champions League push. Wahi marked it online with three pointed images.

One showed a minor flashpoint with OM’s Argentine pair, Leonardo Balerdi and Facundo Medina, who had teased him during the game. Medina played alongside Wahi at Lens in 2023-2024.

Another captured his run-up, and the third was a SpongeBob meme in the snow, a nod to the chill he put on the Vélodrome. In his Story, the Ivorian international, capped once, also shared a clip of former team-mate Chancel Mbemba saying he would not speak too much and that divine justice matters most.
