Emerson Royal is expected to start for Flamengo away to Vitória on Tuesday 10, which would be his third successive start of 2026. According to Coluna Do Fla, Filipe Luís is likely to turn to the full-back with Guillermo Varela absent after feeling pain in his right ankle.

The third-round Brasileirão fixture kicks off at 21:30 Brasília time at Barradão, where travelling support is expected.

Royal began the previous two matches, against Internacional and Sampaio Corrêa. Of his four appearances in 2026, all have been starts, and he has not come on as a substitute in the other games.

The reigning Brazilian champions are still without a win in this season’s league. Flamengo lost 2-1 to São Paulo and drew 1-1 with Internacional in the opening two rounds, leaving them 13th with one point.
