Corinthians are moving to give their women’s team dedicated facilities, with head coach Emily Lima welcoming the push after a 5-1 win over Red Bull Bragantino.

According to Meu Timao, work to separate the shared training base began in early March with a 60 to 90 day timeline, and a contract with the implementing company was signed later that month.

The women’s side and boys’ academy currently share areas next to CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, including dining hall, pitches and gym. The new section will use containers, with specifications yet to be disclosed.

Lima said the structure is good and fit for purpose, but it needs to keep evolving. She praised president Osmar Stabile and director Iris Sesso and said the team could gain a dedicated centre, with staff consulted on priorities.

She also underlined that small details affect daily work and players’ sense of value.

Away from the CT, lighting at the Fazendinha has been upgraded after the ground was barred from staging night matches in May 2025.

On the pitch, Corinthians lead the Brasileirão Feminino with 13 points, ahead of Palmeiras on goal difference. They face Kansas City Current in the Teal Rising Cup on Thursday 9th at 22:00 Brasília time in the United States.
