Emmanuel Grégoire ‘to reopen’ Parc des Princes sale talks with PSG | OneFootball

Emmanuel Grégoire, elected Paris mayor on 22 March, is seeking a reset with PSG after relations with City Hall broke down under Anne Hidalgo. He has put the sale of the Parc des Princes back on the agenda.

“The PSG president, Nasser al-Khelaïfi, called me on Monday morning and I was very happy about that call,” he said, speaking to Le Parisien.

“I want us to build together the future of the Parc des Princes in Paris and it will be on the agenda of the exceptional Paris Council in mid-April.”

“We will organise a decoration for the whole team for the Champions League victory. An invitation to City Hall will be issued by the summer.”

In his programme, Grégoire pledged to transform the Parc des Princes and the Porte de Saint-Cloud into an open, green and popular district, with an expanded stadium, improved local sports facilities, a museum space and a calmer living environment.
