Endrick not yet eligible for Lyon’s Monaco trip, meets supporters | OneFootball

Endrick will not be in the Lyon squad at Monaco on Saturday at 17.00 as Ligue 1 returns, but he still made time for supporters. The Real Madrid loanee is with Lyon until the end of the season.

According to L'Équipe, the 19-year-old told a fan outside the training ground on Friday that he would not be playing, as he is not yet registered.

At 14.00 he signed shirts already printed with his name and posed for photos with about 20 fans, before leaving as a passenger in a black car.

Earlier, he took part in his second full session with his new team-mates. Belgian midfielder Orel Mangala described him as joyful, quickly settled, and comfortable communicating in English, adding he could help Lyon achieve their aims.

Coach Paulo Fonseca said the forward is in good shape after working in Madrid before arriving, but not ready for 90 minutes yet. He praised the quality of his training and his motivation.
