Endrick to join Lyon on six-month loan from Real Madrid | OneFootball

Endrick will join Lyon on a six-month loan from Real Madrid from 1 January, spearheading Paulo Fonseca’s attack. According to L'Équipe, the clubs reached agreement on Monday for a deal without an option to buy.

The 19-year-old Brazil international, capped 14 times with three goals and short of minutes in Spain, had given Lyon his word almost two months ago, first revealed in early November. Talks only began early last week under Madrid’s timetable.

The financial package is around one million euros, with Lyon covering half of the player’s wages over the period. He will wear number nine and the move is a straight loan. The contract is yet to be signed, but this is expected within 48 hours.

Since arriving in La Liga, Endrick has scored only one goal, against Valladolid in the 3-0 win in August 2024. He hopes a run in Ligue 1 will help earn a Seleção call from Carlo Ancelotti for the 2026 World Cup.

He should be in Lyon for the restart on Monday 29 December, though the transfer only becomes official on 1 January. That currently rules him out of the trip to Monaco on Saturday 3 unless the LFP grants an exemption. Lyon are working on a solution.
