England squad plane lands at Birmingham after World Cup third-place finish

A plane believed to be carrying England players landed at Birmingham Airport on Sunday 19 July as the squad returned from the World Cup.
England beat France 6-4 on Saturday to finish third, the men's team's best World Cup finish since 1966. According to Flightradar24, the charter departed Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at 10.48pm and arrived in Birmingham at 12.02pm.
Jordan Pickford, Ezri Konsa, Elliot Anderson and Jordan Henderson were seen disembarking. Some of the squad are understood to have stayed in Miami for holidays or to see family.
Fans gathered to cheer the players as they left the airport.
Birmingham Airport is about 30 miles south of St George’s Park near Burton-on-Trent, the national team’s base.
