English clubs join Eintracht Frankfurt in race to sign PSG prospect | OneFootball

Interest in Paris Saint-Germain academy product Mathis Jangéal (17) is growing, according to a report from Le Parisien.

has recently made a breakthrough at his formative club, PSG. Having featured in matchday squads, he recently made his first-team debut, coming off the bench in a 2-0 win over AJ Auxerre. 

That appearance came at the end of September; he has not featured since. The attacking midfielder’s deal at PSG runs out at the end of the season, and the club are working towards tying him to a new deal. However, it was reported last month that Jangéal is considering a departure from PSG, despite the reigning European champions’ recent contract offer, which for now has not been accepted.

Eintracht Frankfurt are showing a strong interest in the player, as per Le Parisien. But the publication adds that the Bundesliga side, attentive to the market in France, may face competition, notably from English clubs.
