Enzo Fernandez’s agent has spoken out about the “completely unfair” decision to drop his client for the next two games.

Liam Rosenior announced today in his press conference that Enzo Fernandez would be dropped for the next two Chelsea matches as a punishment for his comments in the international break.
If the club were hoping that would draw a line under the incident, they thought wrong. The midfielder’s agent, Javier Pastore has now spoken out about the decision, calling it “completely unfair”.
In quotes picked up by the Athletic, Pastore explained that Enzo “didn’t understand the situation.”
“When the coach told him, he accepted it because he’s a highly professional guy who’s always fully committed wherever he is and respects decisions.
“But we don’t understand the punishment because he doesn’t mention any club or say he wants to leave Chelsea, far from it. He only mentions Madrid, the city, because he was asked which European city he’d like to live in one day… but at no point does he say he wants to leave Chelsea or London.”
Come on now – don’t take us for fools. Fernandez was asked after the PSG game a few weeks ago if he would be at Chelsea next season and said he “didn’t know.”
He was let off the hook for that one. When you follow that with TWO occasions on which you talk about how much you’d like to live in another city, that is only going to be taken one way.
Kaveh Solhekol gave some detail on the positions Chelsea will want to target this summer, as they look for “experienced” players.
Liam Rosenior also rather mysteriously trailed other big news to come in the next few weeks.
