Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has explained why it’s ‘impossible’ for Chelsea to win the Premier League this season.

And it turns out that he actually might be agreeing with some of the club’s critics, especially former Manchester United scout Mick Brown who has claimed Chelsea have ‘no chance’ of winning the Premier League this season.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea thinking about selling new signing who’s not even arrived yet in favour of another new arrival!!

We also know that pundits like Jamie Carragher believes Chelsea have no chance of winning the league this season.

His latest criticism, which we have already reported on this morning, was aimed at Chelsea’s owners once again rather than anything towards Enzo Maresca and in fact, he actually complimented Maresca.

And Maresca might agree with some of the things being said about his squad and what his squad is lacking right now, because he believes Chelsea will find it impossible to catch Liverpool right now.

Enzo Maresca in his press conference.

Maresca admitted on Liverpool: “If they continue in this way I think it is impossible to catch them, not just for us, but for all the clubs.

“They have been doing a fantastic job since last year, and the players they have decided to buy shows the intention of the club to go again for the Premier League and the Champions League, and that is quite clear.”

Maresca’s compliments

The way he is complimenting the transfer business done by Liverpool, you do wonder just how happy he is with what his club has done over the summer.

I personally feel that he wanted more, especially at the back. I am sure that if he was completely honest rather than diplomatic, then we would be hearing how he is not happy with his squad this season.
