Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca decided to pick fights with Chelsea fans after his team failed to beat a very poor relegation side yesterday.

The news comes off the back of Chelsea only managing to draw 2-2 at home with Ipswich Town yesterday, a team who are destined to be in the Championship again next season.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea ARE looking to sign a new goalkeeper this summer and have world class name on the table!! 👀

One BBC pundit has pinned the blame on the players for the draw yesterday, saying that they have to take a long hard look at themselves after that poor performance.

And head coach Enzo Maresca has also picked out two of his players for making some mistakes in the game which he believes was not good enough and cost them.

Overall though it was so poor, and blame really must be shared between the head coach, the manager, and those who have built an unbalanced squad at Chelsea that severely lacks quality experience and balance.

Maresca oddly seemed to pin some blame on the atmosphere in the stadium created by the fans for Ipswich’s second goal, which is absolutely bizarre.

Maresca needs to stop picking fights with Chelsea fans

This will only end one way, and it’s not the first time he has done this either.

He needs fans onside and to be honest it looks like he has already lost them anyway.

The Daily Mail’s Kieran Gill said this on X at half time yesterday:

‘Ipswich don’t have their top, second-top or third-top Premier League scorers on the pitch, but they lead 2-0. Enzo Maresca been taking some flak from Chelsea supporters around the press box.’

If he looses the fans, which it looks like he has, then I can only see his time here ending prematurely.
