Eric Dier and Krépin Diatta return to Monaco’s squad for Sunday’s trip to Lyon. An enlarged 22-man group has been named for the Ligue 1 fixture.

Their comebacks had been anticipated this week and are now confirmed, according to L'Équipe. Dier had been out with a calf issue and Diatta with a thigh problem.

Head coach Sébastien Pocognoli has included both in the travelling party. The Belgian said on Friday that Diatta was in good form and Dier had enjoyed a strong week, adding there is one more session on Saturday and that, if all goes well, some players could be cleared to return.

Pocognoli usually names 21 players rather than 22, which may indicate at least one place remains uncertain.

Kick-off in Lyon is at 15:00 on matchday 27.
