Eric Roy looks to leave Brest | OneFootball

Grégory Lorenzi’s exit from Stade Brestois has already been confirmed, and the manager he hired, who improbably took the club into the UEFA Champions League, could now follow him, according to a report from Mohamed Toubache-Ter.

Lorenzi’s exit from Brest has already been confirmed. The Corsican, who spent 10 years with Les Ty-Zéfs, is set to join Olympique de Marseille, although a previous agreement with OGC Nice is currently holding up the deal. 

There have been doubts surrounding the future of Eric Roy, too. The Frenchman, who guided Brest into the UCL, was vague when questioned about his future on the final day of the Ligue 1 season. Asked whether he would remain at Brest next season, Roy said that he “didn’t know”. The Frenchman added, “I am under contract. There is no reason for me not to be here, but lots of things can happen in life,” he told reporters.

Roy has, at times, complained about the lack of investment at the club in recent times and finished by saying that he “needs positive signs” if he is to remain at the Breton club. Toubache-Ter understands that he may not have had those reassurances, as he too looks to leave.
