Erick Pulgar asks for the number eight on Carrascal’s Colombia post | OneFootball

Erick Pulgar left a message on Jorge Carrascal’s social media after Colombia’s latest game, asking for the number eight, according to Coluna Do Fla. The pair have built a friendship while playing together at Flamengo.

Carrascal had posted a photo from Friday 27 against Croatia. He wore eight for the national team, the number Pulgar referenced.

Carrascal began on the bench versus Croatia and came on in the second half. He did not feature against France on Sunday 29.

While several Flamengo players are on international duty, those not called are working through a mini pre-season under Leonardo Jardim. The coach is using the free days to embed his methods.

The squad trained on Monday 30 morning, the first session of the week. Further work is scheduled for Tuesday 31 and Wednesday the first before travelling to face Red Bull Bragantino in the ninth round of the Brasileirão.

Flamengo visit Red Bull Bragantino at 21:30 Brasília time on Thursday the second in Bragança Paulista.
