According to Le Progres, Ghanaian winger Ernest Nuamah made his Ligue 1 comeback for OL against Rennes on Sunday evening after 13 months out with a knee injury.
With seven minutes remaining, he replaced Endrick to end his long lay-off.
The crowd greeted him with loud applause, which he acknowledged before play resumed.
On the pitch, he tried two or three bursts as he eased back into action.
Clinton Mata said the squad had kept Nuamah in their thoughts, noted that a year away is difficult, and expressed satisfaction at him finding his rhythm again. He added that Nuamah will have the strength and energy to help the team. For the Ghanaian, it feels like a new beginning.
