Étienne Camara close to Panathinaikos move from Charleroi | OneFootball

Étienne Camara is close to joining Panathinaikos from Charleroi, with a four-year contract awaiting him and the fee near €5m, according to Foot Mercato.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who came through Angers’ academy, is set to discover the Greek top flight.

He left SCO’s set-up in 2020 for Huddersfield, continued his development there, then played for Udinese before arriving at Charleroi in February 2024.

In Belgium, the former France Under-20 international progressed across two full seasons, working alongside Adem Zorgane, now at Union Saint-Gilloise, and this season with Algeria international Yacine Titraoui.

He made 38 appearances in 2025-26, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
