Eunate Astralaga’s rise continues, the 20-year-old goalkeeper moving into Athletic’s first-team squad after two seasons on loan at Eibar.
The club said in a statement that Garazi Facila, Amaia Martínez, Amaia Iribarren and Marina Artero also return from loan to join the senior squad.
Astralaga was Eibar’s first-choice this term, playing 27 matches and 2,430 minutes. She now heads back to Lezama with 43 Liga F Moeve appearances, to form a high-level pairing with fellow Spain international Adriana Nanclares.
From Berango in Bizkaia and a regular with Spain’s youth teams, she won the Under-17 World Cup and the Under-19 European Championship. She was called up in 2025 by the senior side and became a Nations League winner.
Left-back Garazi Facila, 26, impressed at Eibar after joining Athletic from Alavés in summer 2023. She recorded 2,300 minutes across 26 games and returns to fill the left-back role vacated by Nerea Nevado.
Midfielder Amaia Iribarren, 23, had spells on loan at Granada then Eibar, playing 1,685 minutes in 25 matches this season.
Centre-back Amaia Martínez, 21, returns after two seasons on loan at Espanyol, where she made 40 top-flight appearances.
Defender Marina Artero also comes back after two campaigns at Deportivo, totalling 38 outings. Comfortable at centre-back and in midfield, the 20-year-old captained Spain to the Under-17 World Cup and won the Under-19 Euros.
