ESPN reports that several European clubs are willing to pay five million euros, R$ 29 million at current rates, for 18-year-old Flamengo goalkeeper Léo Nannetti in the next transfer window, which opens mid-year. The interested clubs have not been named.
Nannetti is under contract with Flamengo until 2029, which leaves the club well placed to handle any approaches.
He starts for the under-20s and is the fourth-choice in the senior squad, behind Agustín Rossi, Andrew and Dyogo Alves.
A Flamengo academy product since the age of eight, he has played more than 300 youth matches and developed at Ninho do Urubu. At 1.93m, he has been closely monitored by Brazil’s coaching staff and has regular youth call-ups.
He rose to national prominence after the 2025 Under-20 world title. In the final against Barcelona at the Maracanã, he made key saves in normal time, then saved two penalties to seal the category’s second intercontinental crown.
Flamengo also have four players called up for the World Cup, and Nannetti will join the group to help Carlo Ancelotti’s squad prepare.
