Bournemouth's draw against Manchester City secured European qualification and, according to O Jogo, triggers a €2m payment to Porto under Evanilson's transfer. The result also put the Premier League title in Arsenal's hands.
When Porto sanctioned the Brazilian forward's move to the Premier League in summer 2024, €37m was guaranteed and a further €10m tied to team and individual targets. With the European bonus added, the total has reached €44.8m.
Of the €7.8m already activated in add-ons, €5m derives from two consecutive seasons of Bournemouth staying in the Premier League, plus this €2m for reaching UEFA competition.
These targets are cumulative, so Bournemouth could, for example, be relegated and still reach UEFA if they won the FA Cup.
The remaining €800,000 concerns appearance blocks, paid for every 15 matches Evanilson plays of at least 45 minutes.
