Lazio full-back Nuno Tavares reportedly has two new suitors interested in bringing him back to the Premier League, in addition to a fellow Serie A side.
The Portuguese joined the Italian capital side last summer on loan from Arsenal with an obligation to buy set at €5m. The 25-year-old enjoyed a sensational start to the campaign, delivering eight assists in his first eight outings. However, recurring muscle injuries have derailed his momentum.

In recent weeks, several reports in the Italian media claimed that Lazio have decided to cash in on Tavares. Management could thus decide to purchase the player’s contract as soon as possible to be prepared to sell him when the opportunity arises.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Everton and Fulham have now surfaced on the scene. The two Premier League clubs have reportedly expressed their interest in luring the Portugal international back to England, where he had previously represented Arsenal and Nottingham Forest. In addition, Juventus has also emerged as a potential destination.
It remains to be seen how much Lazio president Claudio Lotito values his prized asset. At the start of the season, he claimed he wouldn’t sell him for €70 million, but the left-back’s physical struggles and dip in form have certainly taken their toll on his market value. The Aquile’s asking price could be in the region of €40 million, while Arsenal still have a 40% sell-on fee.
